One of the reasons why people defend the traditional publishing industry is because it has always stood for literary quality.


Well, okay, at least you have the assurance that even a book like Snooki’s was vetted.

In this case, “vetted” meaning somewhere between heavily edited and entirely ghost-written.

It’s not like someone could write BDSM-themed Twilight fan fiction and get it printed in paper form by a major publisher with no vetting, right?
